TIME FOR A CHANGE What ever happened to a government run by the people,for the people? what is going on here?Why is it illegal for people in this country and many other so-called democracies to grow and use a non-lethal herb that is natural,but legal to use,and even abuse,lethal concoctions created by humans such as alcohol and valiums?Are we really free to do what we want,or are we just free to do what the government tells us to do?It has been estimated that there are pot smokers than there are armed forces and police.Does the majority rule in a democracy,or were we just taught that by our educational system so we would grow up to be patriotic and become good soldiers? We have been taught that it is ok for our government to send young men and women to fight other governments`soldiers for political gains.People die from wars everyday,but the media still glorifies them.On Memorial day,the average person is more concerned with what is on sale in stores than mourning those who have died for their countries`politicans.Marijuana is a herb that opens peoples`minds to the injustices of the world,especially war. The average pot smoker is peaceful to everyone of any culture and race.They are usually even peaceful towards their enemies. The facts are clear,and it is becoming incredibly obvious that the government is not keeping pot illegal because it is concerned with our welfare.Is the truth too much to handle?It is time for the government to confess and stop pushing lies.The governments of democratic countries are supposed to make laws to satisfy their people,not to intimidate and jail them.We,the people, have a right to know what is really going on.
