I love the herb. I hope one day I will grow again. Without the fear of having everything taken from me, including my daughter. I grew for years in the country. Bubblegum, Skunk, Original Haze to name a few very potent marijuana plants. But I moved back to the city and the smell of skunk or traffic in my apartments keep me from doing it here. |

"Doctors are not the enemy in the WOD; ignorance and hypocrisy are. Research should go on, and while it does, marijuana should be available to all patients who need it to help them undergo treatment for life-threatening illnesses. There is certainly sufficient evidence to declassify marijuana as a Schedule 2 drug....As long as therapy is safe and has not been proven ineffective, seriously ill patients (and their physicians) should have access to whatever they need to fight for their lives" I think that the prohibition of this plant is a disgrace to all Americans. Prohibition has brought WAR on our own people. Prohibition has put this country into a police state. Our veterans continue to suffer and live under bridges, our education system is below the rest of the world in primary education, families starving and can't pay their bills forced to live on the streets because welfare has been cut, social security benefits might not be there for me or my child, farmers losing their land after owning the land for generations, im-prisoning non-violent drug offenders longer than a rapist or a murderer, schizophrenics and manic-depressives wonder the streets, both parents have to work while their children raise themselves, the list goes on. Our tax dollars spend over $7.2 Billion a year on THE WAR ON MARIJUANA according to a NORML report. This same money could go to the eradication of these human sufferings not for the eradication of a plant that can't even get you HIGH off the side of the road! How about not killing innocent people because police officers shot the wrong guy 36 times while legally but unconstitutionally breaking into a home. True story. It happened here in Houston in 1998. We need to stop officers from being allowed to do a drug search in our car when we are pulled over for a minor traffic violation like not using the turn signal to change lanes. What does a traffic violation have to do with drugs? "What is true of every member of the society, individually, is true of them all collectively; since the rights of the whole can be no more than the sum of the rights of the indivduals." |
