My name is scotty. I am a 20 year old who is a strong believer in the legalization of marijuana. I like to listen to punk rock, and play the drums. I have been involved the the legalize it campaign since I was 14 years old. I think that marijuana is a medicine. Its mother natures way of telling the masses to relax and take a load off. I am still against all other narcotics. They are dangerous and very addictive. Marijuana to me is the wonder drug. I just hate having to feel tence everytime I smoke. On with the fight. My personal views on the legalization of CANABIS SATIVA,(marijuana). 1) The legalization of marijuana would leave more space in jails for the real criminals. Not the kids who get caught with pot. 2) It's safer than alcohol,and,nicotine. 3)It provides an escape from reality. (safe) 4) It would cut down on crime and drug related murders. 5) It would make people a lot happier <g 6) Marijuana can put cancer into remission, and cure glaucoma. "PERSONAL NOTE" IF MARIJUANA WAS LEGALIZED THEIR WOULD OBVIOUSLY BE A TAX. (a heavy tax at that) THE TAXES COLLECTED FORM MARIJUANA SALES COULD GO TOWARDS THE FIGHT ON OTHER DRUGS:ie. HEROIN,COCAINE,CRACK,ICE, AND SO ON. "MY DEFINITION" MARIJUANA- Marijuana is a medicine, not a drug. It allows people a temporary escape from reality. It causes the mind to broaden, and the senses to deaden. It is a form of relaxation, and a cure to many of lifes ails:i.e. MIGRANES, CANCER, GLAUCOMA. It is a pain reliever for: CANCER PATIENTS,AIDS and HIV PATIENTS, AND ANYONE WHO IS DEALING WITH PHYSICAL PAIN. MARIJUANA IS NOT HARMFUL IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.
